A family affair
I left a corporate career at its height to chase what I had always loved: makeup. I specialized in bridal because the work asks for makeup that lasts all day, reads refined up close, and never overpowers the person wearing it. That same standard runs through the brand today.
One afternoon I came home to find my daughter Victoria in my kit, wearing more of my lipstick than I was. I read the labels on what she had on more carefully than I ever had. Some of what I saw I did not want on her, on the brides I worked with, or on me. I decided to make my own.
Today my husband Don and I run Wonderblush together, while raising our four children, competing in an industry of giants. Everything is still made in Canada, in small batches, and somehow it is in the hands of customers across 20 countries. That still amazes us.
